Shri Krishna Kaliya Mardan Mandir, located at Manik Chowk, Mathura, is a sacred site dedicated to the divine Kaliya Mardan Leela of Lord Shri Krishna. The temple stands as a timeless symbol of courage, compassion, and the victory of righteousness over evil. This holy place is not merely a temple but a spiritual space where devotees connect with the eternal message of dharma. It commemorates the divine moment when Lord Krishna liberated the Yamuna River from the poisonous serpent Kaliya, restoring purity and harmony to Braj Bhoomi.
Lord Shri Krishna performs the divine Kaliya Mardan Leela, sanctifying Maa Yamuna and protecting Braj Bhoomi.
The sacred form of Kaliya Mardan Shri Krishna is worshipped through generations in the Braj region.
The present temple structure is established by Shri Kali Sahu Ji, and the divine idol is installed at Manik Chowk, Mathura.
Daily worship and rituals are performed by the Shri Rasika Ji Chaturvedi Brahmin family, preserving ancient Vedic traditions.

Our Sacred Legacy & Divine Purpose
We are devoted followers of Sanatan Dharma, guided by the divine teachings of Lord Rama and Lord Vishnu. Our mission is to preserve, practice, and share the timeless values of Hinduism—rooted in devotion, righteousness, compassion, and spiritual awakening.
According to the Shrimad Bhagavat Purana, the serpent Kaliya had poisoned the sacred waters of the Yamuna River, spreading fear and suffering across the region. Witnessing the distress of the people and nature alike, Lord Krishna, in His divine childhood form, descended into the Yamuna.
With supreme grace and courage, Lord Krishna subdued Kaliya by dancing upon his many hoods, restoring purity to the river and peace to the land.
To commemorate this divine leela, the temple was established in Samvat 1956 by Shri Kali Sahu Ji, becoming a sacred center of faith and remembrance for generations of devotees.
The Kaliya Mardan form of Lord Krishna represents the triumph of divine consciousness over ego, fear, and darkness. It symbolizes the eternal truth that when adharma rises, the divine manifests to restore balance. श्री कृष्ण कालिया मर्दन मंदिर, मणिक चौक, मथुरा में स्थित एक पावन तीर्थ स्थल है, जो भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की कालिया मर्दन लीला को समर्पित है।
यह मंदिर साहस, करुणा और अधर्म पर धर्म की विजय का दिव्य प्रतीक है।
यह पवित्र स्थल केवल एक मंदिर नहीं, बल्कि एक आध्यात्मिक केंद्र है जहाँ भक्त धर्म के शाश्वत संदेश से जुड़ते हैं।
यह उस दिव्य क्षण की स्मृति को संजोए हुए है जब भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने यमुना को कालिया नाग के विष से मुक्त कर ब्रजभूमि में शांति और पवित्रता स्थापित की।
हमारी पावन विरासत एवं दिव्य उद्देश्य
हम सनातन धर्म के समर्पित अनुयायी हैं, जो भगवान श्रीराम और भगवान श्रीविष्णु की दिव्य शिक्षाओं से प्रेरित हैं। हमारा उद्देश्य हिंदू धर्म के शाश्वत मूल्यों — भक्ति, धर्म, करुणा और आध्यात्मिक जागरण — को संरक्षित एवं प्रचारित करना है।
श्रीमद्भागवत पुराण के अनुसार, कालिया नाग ने यमुना नदी के पवित्र जल को विषैला बना दिया था, जिससे समस्त क्षेत्र में भय और पीड़ा फैल गई। भक्तों और प्रकृति की व्यथा देखकर भगवान श्रीकृष्ण बाल स्वरूप में यमुना में अवतरित हुए।
अपनी दिव्य शक्ति से भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने कालिया नाग के फनों पर नृत्य कर उसे पराजित किया, जिससे यमुना पुनः पवित्र हुई और ब्रजभूमि में शांति स्थापित हुई।
इसी दिव्य लीला की स्मृति में संवत 1956 में श्री काली साहू जी द्वारा इस मंदिर की स्थापना की गई।
भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का कालिया मर्दन स्वरूप अहंकार, भय और अंधकार पर दिव्य चेतना की विजय का प्रतीक है।
यह दर्शाता है कि जब अधर्म बढ़ता है, तब धर्म की पुनः स्थापना के लिए ईश्वर अवतरित होते हैं।
